I'd hate for anyone to think I hadn't been hard at work spinning over the last week, so here's my progress on the BFL I'm planning to use as my first full skein of navajo ply.



I've spun the single with a bit more twist than the original sample, as I felt the resulting plied yarn was a bit too loose. The single is somewhere between lace and sock weight - I still need to get better at consistency, but hey, I'm only a couple of weeks into this spinning malarkey and I'm pretty happy with the progress so far. Let's see how the plying goes...
